SIMPLE POSY STYLING

We've recently redecorated our kitchen with blues and whites and we have chosen the Alberte French Blue Oilcloth tablecloth to cover our table. The room is now looking lovely and fresh and all we needed were some flowers for the centre of the table to match the table covering.

So, we decided to wander out into the garden to gather a posy of flowers to put in this little blue and white stripy jug from the infamous Cornishware collection. The most obvious choice of flowers were the fabulous blue Echinops which are like spikey pompoms. As the bees love these, we only picked a few, along with some white lavender. To add some contrast, we picked a small bunch of Lady’s Mantle which is like a frothy mass of lime green flowers and is spilling out onto the garden path. And because the wipeable tablecloth has some brown stems in the design, we picked some brown grasses which have interesting seed heads.

We will replenish the flowers throughout the rest of the summer and come the autumn, we will have another look through our range of wipeable tablecloths and choose another design for our table that will look just as lovely in our kitchen. And then we’ll have fun creating a matching table decoration that will look great with the colours and design of the new tablecloth.
