You will probably have heard of Hygge which is the Danish word describing a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with great people. In the English language, we don’t have one specific word that directly translates the mood and atmosphere created with hygge, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it.
In this fast-paced world, we could all benefit from a bit of hygge. Whether it’s wrapping up warm and going for a walk in the woods, sipping a mug of hot chocolate in front of a warm fire, or reading a book, wrapped up in a cosy throw surrounded by scented candle, we all need a spot of hygge from time to time.
