GARDEN TABLES BECOMING A POTTING BENCH

Spring always brings that sudden urge to get your hands dirty. One minute you're having a morning cup of tea, and the next, the garden table is completely covered in terracotta pots, bags of compost, and a sea of purple violas. It’s lovely to get gardening, but nobody wants to spend the rest of the weekend scrubbing soil out of the grooves of a wooden table or fretting over water rings from damp pots.

That is where a proper, hard-working tablecloth comes in. The Tide Indigo design has been a massive favourite recently, mostly because the deep blue and leafy white pattern looks right at home next to fresh green shoots and wicker baskets. It essentially turns your table into a temporary potting bench. You can spill water, drop muddy trowels, and scatter all the compost you like. Once the plants are sorted, a quick wipe down with a damp cloth brings the table straight back to life, completely spotless and ready for a BBQ.

For anyone planning a bit of gardening or seed sowing this weekend, protecting the furniture makes the whole thing a lot more relaxing. All our tablecloths are available to order in custom lengths, with optional parasol holes cut into the middle so the sun umbrella can slide straight through.
