HOW TO CLEAN YOUR OILCLOTH TABLECLOTH
When it comes to cleaning, there’s nothing simpler than an oilcloth or PVC tablecloth. Unlike linen tablecloths, your Wipe Easy tablecloth will not need to be washed, dried or ironed. You simply wipe it clean and that’s it, your tablecloth is ready to be used again.
There are just a few care instructions you need to be aware of if you want to extend the life of your tablecloth and keep it in tip top condition.
Wipe your tablecloth after each meal to remove spills. Dried on food will usually come off but it’s best to remove any mess straight away.
Try not to spill tomato-based and curry sauces as they can lead to stains. Ink, nail varnish, lipstick and shoe polish can also stain, so avoid contact with these substances where possible.
Avoid placing hot cookware directly onto the tablecloth as oilcloth, Teflon and PVC will burn.
When storing your wipe clean tablecloth, roll it rather than fold it to prevent creasing.
Generally speaking, a wipe clean tablecloth is a great choice as it’s so practical offering good protection for your furniture (probably why our tablecloths are so popular among parents and grandparents!) However, the right design will also enhance the look of your kitchen without the additional housework which a linen tablecloth entails.
