Website Terms & Conditions

Please see below our terms & conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected.

All tablecloths are made to order and cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing fault or defect.  The drop down size and shape menu is for convenience and NOT stock items.  For all other items on our website we will offer a refund if you are not satisfied.  Please see our returns policy for further details.  Tablecloths can be cut to any length from 100 cm to 2000 cm as we stock 20 metre rolls.

We endeavour to take the best quality pictures to reflect the colours of our tablecloths. Colour is however dependent on your monitor. Before purchasing we advise that customers request samples from us to colour match.  Shade variations can occur between a sample and current stock.

A contract will exist between us (Wipe Easy Tablecloths) and you (the customer) when we issue an invoice. Until this time we reserve the right to inform you of any mistakes in pricing or if goods are out of stock. We will contact you to advise of any mistakes and you will have the option to cancel.

Bias Binding

Bias binding is a cotton hem which you can opt to have sewn along the edge of your tablecloth.  Bias binding isn’t necessary as the PVC or Teflon coating does seal the edges to prevent fraying.  However, it does give a ‘finished’ look and adds to the presentation of the tablecloth, so you can choose it as an Optional Extra when you buy your tablecloth. There is an additional charge of £20 for bias binding for each tablecloth you order. If you require a specific colour for the bias binding please contact us otherwise we will chose a colour which blends in with the overall tone of your tablecloth.  Bias binding is cotton and not PVC coated. Please note that some tablecloths (due to the size) will be supplied with rounded corners if you select to have a bias binding hem.

Large tablecloths with a centre seam

We offer a centre seam service for customers who wish to order larger tablecloths.  All the stitches are on the underside of the tablecloth, however, please note the centre seam will not lie completely flat.  Once you receive your tablecloth it can be helpful to place heavy objects along the seam overnight.  The tablecloth will not be completely flat along the seam as two lots of oilcloth fabric are sewn together.  We will always pattern match if we can.  However it is not always possible to pattern match and achieve the required width.  In this instance the tablecloth will arrive without a pattern match.

No need to wash just wipe clean

We do not recommend that you wash oilcloth or PVC tablecloths in a washing machine. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth (you can also use washing up liquid or antibacterial spray).  Teflon coated tablecloths can be washed.  However please note the teflon coating will diminish with each wash and disappear after approx 10 washes.  Use a 30 degree delicate wash, no fabric conditioner.  Take it out of the machine as soon as the cycle has finished to minimize creasing and dry on a line if possible.  Iron using a medium steam setting on the non coated side to reactivate the finsih.

Please note that our tablecloths do not always lie flat like a fabric tablecloth.

Delivery

We recommend that tablecloths are sent on a roll to avoid creasing. Please note that some designs have an advisory in the product description 'do not fold'  This is because some colours can fade in the fold lines when folded so please do opt to have these designs sent on a roll.

Customers will be liable to pay any local import duties/taxes.

We aim to process standard orders within 3 working days, please allow up to 10 days for orders with a centre seam, bias binding hem, box corners or elastic edge. If you have an urgent order please let us know. If any items are not available we will make contact and you will have the right to cancel your order. Out of stock items will be placed on back order and you will be notified and given the option to cancel your order if you so wish.  Please note that some large commerical orders may take longer to process.  Please do call us if you have a delivery deadline.

You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery if any goods are damaged or missing.

Full details of delivery charges and delivery destination terms and conditions can be seen here: Postage Costs

We send tablecloths folded to our customers overseas.  Proof of delivery from the delivery Company is sufficient evidence that the goods have been received by you (the customer).  If a delivery is received damaged, please do not sign for the goods and contact us within 24 hours of receipt of the delivery so that we can make a claim against our delivery company.

We recommend that you store your tablecloth on a roll to prevent damage and creasing.

Tablecloths are not hemmed but can be hemmed with a bias binding and this service is available as an optional extra.

Disclaimer: Some printed designs may deviate from a straight line and the cut we make may not be aligned exactly to the woven pattern. This is a known limitation. We endeavour to cut items as much aligned to the pattern as possible, however this may not always be the case. Deviations from alignment of cutting from the woven pattern are deemed to be expected and within normal standards.

Please be aware that the following may stain your Wipe Easy tablecloth:

Some tomato based sauces/curry sauce/ink/shoe polish/nail varnish/lipstick/newspaper print if the tablecloth is damp.  There might be  some foods/products that we have not listed that may stain your tablecloth.  If in doubt please ask for a sample so that you can spot test.  Wipe Easy tablecloths that are left in direct sunlight may result in some fading to the fabric colour.  For outdoor tables we do not recommend that tablecloths are left outside when not in use.  Water will be absorbed and mildew will occur.  If tablecloths are left outside in a rain shower we recommend they go onto a line to dry immediately but please be aware rain marks can remain.

Wipe Easy Tablecloths are not heat resistant so do not place pans or very hot items directly onto the cloth. Oilcoth and teflon coated tablelcoths can be ironed with a cool iron on the reverse (the uncoated side) to remove any creases

There might be small blemishes which occur during the PVC coating process, tablecloths are sold with a 5% tolerance of any small defects.

Tablecloths with a centre seam - please note that pattern match is not always possible.

Customers who purchase a wholesale roll please note there may be a join to the fabric on the roll.

All sizes are subject to a plus or minus 3% tolerance.  If you need a specific size, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Any photographs that are sent to Mill Trading after purchase may be used by Mill Trading to advertise.
