HOW TO REMOVE CREASES FROM YOUR TABLECLOTH

While there are lots of practical benefits in choosing a wipe clean tablecloth, you may wish to take a little care to prevent or remove creases.

Whether you choose an oilcloth, Teflon-coated or PVC tablecloth, creases will occur whenever you fold the tablecloth and prevent it from lying flat for a little while.

Of course, prevention is better than cure, so we would recommend that when you place your order you opt for delivery on a cardboard roll. It costs £7.99 (subject to postcode) but you can then keep the cardboard roll and wrap your tablecloth onto it whenever you’re not using it.

If you opt for folded delivery at £3.99 (subject to postcode), your tablecloth will be fine, but it will be slightly creased.  Don’t worry, the creases will fade - all you have to do is lay the tablecloth flat for a day or so.

Whenever you remove the tablecloth, use the delivery roll to wrap it around so that you don’t have to fold it.  If you do choose to fold it, be careful to use as few folds as possible to minimise creasing.

If your tablecloth has become creased and you don’t want to wait for the creasing to disappear, you can give a light iron to the fabric side of the tablecloth if it’s made from oilcloth or is Teflon-coated. (Remember to place your iron on a cooler setting and don’t let it rest for too long on any single area of the tablecloth!)

Please remember that PVC tablecloths, which are 100% plastic, MUST NOT BE IRONED, of course.
